Hello, Kansas State University Oboists! Welcome! Whether you are just starting your reed making journey or you are a long-time reed maker, this page is for YOU! I have organized the list into the following categories: For Making Reeds- Student; For Storing Reeds; Oboe/ English horn Care; Performing Supplies; Method Books; Reed Making Supplies- Professional. You do not need to purchase everything on this list all at once. Before you begin your studies, we will assess what you already have and come up with a plan for when and how to acquire the supplies you need!
