love the product, not the quality or customer service of Chicago Reed Co.
I bought this just about a month ago and the system does what intends to and does it well. Unfortunately, the coating on the clarinet hook came off in a place and the rough metal deeply scratched the inside of my bell in several places. I'm very displeased because my Backun is not very old and now it's damaged. :( I contacted Chicago Reed Co, the creators of the WRIST system, and they were only willing to replace the hook, but not offer a partial refund for the damage their improperly manufactured product caused. Apologies in words do not fix damage caused by defective products. Minus one star for the damage to my horn, and minus another for the poor customer care.

Well-designed product
As I'm recovering from shoulder surgery, the W.R.I.S.T. system has allowed me to play the oboe much sooner than I expected (with doctor's approval of course!). It takes all the weight off of the thumb/arm and allows playing in a relaxed manner. It is well constructed and easy to use. A great find!

Grear product
The W.R.I.S.T weight support system works quite well. There are two things that are not clear from the directions 1.) if you are attaching to a smaller music stand (such as the portable ones) you’ll need to flip over the removable part of the clamp - it’s designed for this option but the directions that come with the unit don’t mention this . 2.) you don’t need to turn the brass screw itself to adjust the spring flex - just push the screw head to the left or right (following the coil) to move the interior rod backwards or forwards within the spring assembly. (This is hard to describe - maybe that’s why it’s not clear from the directions). This is a beautifully designed mechanism , and I’m very happy with it.
