Rieger Contrabassoon and Bassoon Plaque

The plaque for contrabassoon AND bassoon is a triangle shaped piece of plastic to be inserted between the blades of your contrabassoon or bassoon reed in preparation for adjusting your reed's blade thickness and smoothness. It is intended to provide some structured rigidity when using your knife, files, or sandpaper. Though sized and intended for contrabassoon, it can very easily be used for your bassoon reeds, without the need for a second plaque. This plaque is contoured and is available in black, red, transparent, or semi-transparent blue plastic. The dimensions are approximately 2" in length, 1" in width, and 0.25" thick. The corners are rounded.
