Kunibert Michel Oboe Pregouger (Push Style)

The Oboe Pregouger by Kunibert Michel is the push style device. Placed on a flat surface, such as a desk, it has bar that works best at an edge with right angles, to lock onto the edge of the desk. Then place split and soaked cane, piece by piece, into the bed of the pregouger, and use the included pusher to push the cane through the blade. There is a stop for the pusher so that it never touches the blade. The cane comes out pregouged and ready for use in your gouging machine.
