Small and Reliable

The Travel Mandrel will accept all oboe family reeds, and is the perfect companion for your travels. The lack of a longer mandrel will also make getting through airport security with this tool much easier. This is to be used while scraping on the reed, not for tying on. It can be used with EH, oboe d'amore, Baroque, and Viennese oboe reeds. (Essentially all reeds that have staples that are tubes without corks.)

This smaller handle is designed for musicians who travel a lot, have smaller hands, or are just looking for a smaller handle on their reed making tools. It offers space savings while still providing enough handle to have a solid grip on the tool.
