EB Pro Medium English Horn Reed
Like the oboe reeds, EB Pro English Horn reeds have a nice dark sound and are very well balanced with good response.
These professional-level reeds are made in the American style with a blended scrape. The tip is a V shaped (somewhat horizontal, like in the picture), ample heart, thick and strong spine and side rails, and well defined windows which blend in the heart. They are very comfortable, with a stable pitch, outstanding low and high registers, dark sound and great projection. They seem to fit better the advanced students and pro players.
The finished reed is approximately 56mm so they can produce a “C#” crow at 440 Hz. For a 440 pitch, please use bocals number 2 or 3. These reeds are made with the Giacobassi shape and brass staples. Only 12-12.5mm vintage Gonzalez cane is used.

The reed was ok but not great. I am capable of adjusting reeds but couldn't really make this one work well for me.

Wow!
This is the first reed I've played by this maker, and it was a very pleasant surprise! The reed has a warm, soft tone; a little dark. I just bought two more to determine if this is a consistent maker of a great reed or if this reed I bought was a fluke.
