The standard Chiarugi oboe mandrel is made of stainless steel and is hand finished in order to fit properly with each of the corresponding-sized staples. These mandrels fit the Bernardini and Hammer classical oboe staples. They can be used for both the 42mm and 43mm staples. The handle is in polished African ebony wood.
