A "Backup" Reed Case
I purchased the 20-reed bassoon reed case in leather. The odor was strong at first, but then eventually dissipated. The tongs are a little delicate and I've found that to close the lids I can't be in a hurry. The plus side of this case is that it's spacious and holds a lot of reeds. I'm using it for my reeds "in stages" and my other reed case for everyday use.
