Reeds 'n Stuff Oboe Profiling Machine Templates

1. Alex-: This template was developed together with Alex Klein for the oboe but works with EH as well.
2. EHUS: This template is for USA type English Horn reeds. Please use with Tongue, "CA" English Horn US (Engraving: "W") for Profiling Machine.
3. RYRO: This template was designed in collaboration with Ryan Roberts, English Hornist of the New York Philharmonic. It is designed to provide a very connected transition between the tip and the plateau (heart). Ryan's recommendation is to use a sharp knife to define the transition as needed, focusing on the base of the tip. Ryan Roberts uses the RDG-1 and -1N shapes on Chudnow "A" Silver staples, tied to a length of 57.5 - 58 mm.
4. US3: Oboe template that can be used for English horn.

The Alex- and US3 are oboe templates that Reeds 'n Stuff recommends for American scrape English horn reeds.

The EHUS and RYRO are made specifically for American English Horn Reeds.
