Elegantly flexible

Designed with the same ergonomic wooden handle as our mandrels and reamers, this handle will hold all of our interchangeable mandrels.

The handle is designed in such a way, that the mandrels sit in the same location as they would on their non-interchangeable counterparts. This means that you can hold and work with these interchangeable mandrels the exact same way you are accustomed to working.

Pair this with the wooden drying rack and you can easily work on a blank, or reed, and bring it back to the drying rack without the reed ever leaving the mandrel. This gives you maximum control over the forming of the inside of the tube during the forming process.

Our ejector ring can also be used here just as easily as on any of our other forming mandrels. Simply attach the ejector ring, and when you are done it can slide off the front or back end of the mandrel once removed from the handle.

Swap it out

Our wooden drying rack base allows you to remove the forming mandrels.
This means you can mix and match which types of mandrels you would like on your drying rack, as they can be ordered individually.
