Very good for reeds that leak.
I like this better than fish skin for leaky reeds. It results in a tighter seal. I only gave it four stars, though, because I wish it were not white. It would be nice if it blended better with the cane. I use this if I am in a position where I have to buy a commercial reed. The reeds that my teacher makes never fail but sometimes I just need a reed and have to depend on a store bought one. This tape has saved me a few times from having to throw away a reed.
