Grobet Regular Pillar Files, 0 Cut
The 4" Grobet USA Swiss cut pillar file is "regular" width (3/8" wide) and cut on both sides. However, the edges are smooth so you can't accidentally dig in. This file is wider than the 6" long "narrow" files so more cane can be taken off at a time. It is used for rougher work on the bassoon reed. George Sakakeeny recommends this Grobet file in his ebook, "Making Reeds Start to Finish".
