Glotin Bassoon Tube Cane, grown in the Var region of France, is grown on their own farms! A medium to medium-hard density bassoon cane, the tubes are a beautiful golden color and produce reeds that have rich overtones and harmonic complexity. The average diameter of the tube is 24-26mm, and cane is available by the 1-pound or 1/2 pound bag.

Glotin Co. grows its own cane on their farm in the Fréjus-Var region in southern France. The cane is grown for two years and is well kept, according to the tradition, for an additional two years. In the first Year, the cane reaches its final size and diameter. At the end of the second year, the cane is cut by hand.
