Inventory Manager Position

Inventory Manager. This is a full-time hourly position.
Qualifications
Core Skills
- Experienced Reed Maker (Oboe or Bassoon)
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
Helpful qualifications - these can be trained on the job
- Experience with customer service, sales, inventory management, and Quickbooks
Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Filling orders
- Maintaining Inventory
- Using QuickBooks to manage inventory
- Answering the phone occasionally
- Answering customer emails when relating to product questions
- Going to University Double Reed Days
- Maintaining weekly swab manufacturing schedule for the production room
Monetary Compensation
Starting salary between $22.60 and $25.00 per hour which is $47,000-$52,000 per year, depending on qualifications.
Hours and Location
40 hours per week. Hours are somewhat flexible but typically 8:30-5:00. On site at our location in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Central Virginia.

- Cutting & splitting tube cane
- Pregouging
- Gouging
- Shaping
E-commerce Specialist
- Adding and maintaining products on the website
- Maintaining accurate Amazon listings
- Ensuring MAPP pricing among Hodge swab sellers
- University Program outreach
- Reed research
- Drafting oboe related blogs
Monetary Compensation
Starting salary between $20.20 and $22.60 per hour which is $42,000-$47,000 per year, depending on qualifications.
Hours and Location
40 hours per week. Hours are flexible but typically 8:30-5:00. On site at our location in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Central Virginia.
