This pack sharpens at a higher level than the diamond pack. The final grit level is higher and the ceramic stones do well on the Rigotti, Nielsen, Chiarugi, and MCW razor knives which tend to chatter on the diamond stones. We recommend the Superaser for cleaning the ceramic stones. It is also important to have an angle cube to measure the angles of the ceramic stones. The ceramic and waterstones found in the waterstone packs are different thicknesses than the diamond stones. They also will change thickness over time from use so the angles need to be measured to make sure they are the same as each other. We sell the Accuremote Angle Gauge for this purpose.
