A must if your wrists hurt after playing
I have arthritis in my wrists but really like to practice. I didn’t think a neck strap would help but it really does. It takes enough of the weight off of your hands so you can play longer. I bought the elastic neck strap because that’s what my teacher recommended. I don’t know if the regular neck straps work as well as the elastic ones but I would not hesitate to try either one if your thumbs or wrists hurt after playing for a while.
